Puster Elementary School

Lovejoy ISD will begin Holiday Break on Friday, December 19, with students and staff returning on Wednesday, January 7. Campus and district offices will be closed during the break.

Special delivery from the Grinch "himself"! Superintendent Kordel made a surprise visit to our kindergarteners, spreading holiday cheer with a reading of How the Grinch Stole Christmas and gifting each student their very own copy of the book. Turns out, even the Grinch has a big heart! 💚

Congratulations to all of our 4th grade Spelling Bee participants! Today, our students showed incredible courage and determination. A special congratulations to our first-place winner, Aidan Yonley, who will proudly represent Puster at the Collin County Spelling Bee! #PusterProud

Yesterday a flurry of holiday cheer swept through Lovejoy as the Foundation for Lovejoy Schools hand-delivered cash holiday bonuses to our incredible teachers and staff! This remarkable gesture speaks volumes about the unwavering support and the deep appreciation our community has for the people who serve our students each day. The joy on the faces of Lovejoy ISD teachers and staff was priceless, and your generosity has made this holiday season even brighter for our entire District. Thank you for continuing to champion our teachers and staff in such meaningful ways!

Who knew we had so many cookie decorators?! Thanks to our Puster PTO for helping make the season merry and bright✨. Today, our staff got to enjoy a mindful break that was extra sweet!

Phone lines and Internet are temporarily down at all campuses and the District. Classes are continuing as scheduled. We will communicate when phones have been restored.

🎶 Our 4th Grade Puster Choir is in full holiday swing! From dazzling crowds at Stonebriar Centre and the Lucas Tree Lighting to shining onstage at the Fine Arts Festival, these young musicians have been busy spreading cheer. We’re so proud of our performers!

Nothing says “country” like a good ol’ old-fashioned grilled cheese! Our Puster elves were hard at work today, grilling up homemade goodness for our staff.
