This year’s drive runs September 3–13. Last year, our community collected over 400 lbs. of peanut butter—can we top it this year? Let’s come together to make a difference!

Puster Families, As of today, all transportation changes will need to go through SDM. Changes have to be submitted by 2:00 PM daily. The SDM App is free and available in the App Stores. New/Incoming parents will need to add the SDM App to a smartphone, tablet, or web browser. The app is compatible with Android and Apple devices. IMPORTANT: Returning parents need to UPDATE last year’s App before the first day of school. Using School Dismissal Manager with your desktop or smartphone browser, you can quickly and easily update instructions when your child's dismissal needs to be changed. It is no longer necessary for you to phone the school, send notes, or send an email to inform the school of dismissal changes. School Dismissal Manager provides us with a more organized and efficient tracking system for afternoon dismissals. Here are a few Fast Facts that you will need to know for getting started: 1. New parents have been issued a username and temporary password in a separate email. Returning parents can use their existing parent login credentials. Please use these to login to SDM at www .schooldismissalmanager.com. 2. The Parent Login area is found at the top right of the SDM homepage. 3. When you login for the first time, you will be required to change your password immediately. 4. Please refer to the Parent Guide for Creating Exceptions for details on how to use the system. 5. As you begin to use School Dismissal Manager, if you have questions, please check the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) link found in the Parent login area at the top of the SDM homepage. Here, you will find answers to the most commonly asked questions. If your question remains unanswered after checking here, please contact the school office and we will be happy to assist you further. 6. When you start to receive the email notifications of changes or cancellations that are made for your child, please keep in mind that hitting Reply or Reply All on those emails does not reply to the school. If you need to respond to a notification. Please call Ms. Edith at the main number. 7. Each school day, School Dismissal Manager will send a comprehensive dismissal report to the school immediately following the cut-off time, allowing administrators and staff to facilitate a smooth dismissal. 8. Teachers will ONLY go by the School Dismissal Manager report for any exceptions to the child's default dismissal. What is listed in SDM is how the child will go home. We love seeing our fourth grade mathematicians in action! Students are teaming up to solve problems, explain their thinking, and explore new strategies together. One student shared, “It helps me understand more when we talk about how we got the answer.”

The Texas Education Agency has released its 2025 A–F Accountability Ratings, and we are pleased to share that Lovejoy ISD earned an overall score of 94 and an “A” rating. These outcomes reflect the perseverance of our students, dedication of our educators, support of our parents, and the strong governance of our Board of Trustees. Together, we form a powerful alliance focused on high quality educational opportunities for our students, including rigorous and dynamic learning experiences, high extracurricular participation, student leadership, and community service.
