I am thrilled to be working at Puster Elementary! I was a substitute teacher in the District for 3 years before becoming a full-time employee. I knew, after I had subbed one time, that I had found my niche! I love being the first person to greet students, parents and all visitors to our beautiful school!
I have an Associate in Arts degree in Journalism from Navarro College and have taken several interior design courses at Collin College. Prior to becoming a LISD substitute, I had my own faux finishing business for about 10 years.
I live in the Seis Lagos community with my husband of 34 years, Robert, and we have one son, Elliott. We also have a very sweet miniature Dachshund named Sophie who likes to steal socks and anything else she can get her mouth on! Robert and I enjoy finding new antique and thrift stores and re-purposing old furniture. We also have made lamps out of very unusual things! We are all very proud to be native Texans and love living in the country!
I look forward to seeing all of those darling, little faces back in school!
