Mary attended Arizona State University 2001-2005 where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech & Hearing Science and then went on to earn her Master of Science degree at Northern Arizona University in Clinical Speech Pathology 2005-2007. After that Mary worked in the private practice and home health setting for 4 years before embarking on her career in public schools. Mary has 11 years of experience and enjoys bringing interesting, whimsical, cultural, and other out-of-the-box topics into her therapy in order to provide a therapeutic experience that not only improves communication but is also enriching and reaching beyond the classroom.
Mary has been married to her husband, Shawn, who she has known since she was 12. Together they have 2 children. Their son will be entering first grade at Puster Elementary and their daughter is almost 4 and will be at Little Leopards at Hart Elementary. Mary and her family just moved to Texas this summer and are very excited about this new chapter of their lives!
