I am thrilled to begin my 12th year as a Lovejoy ISD Leopard and my 15th year as an educator. I'm excited about the opportunity of teaching your child. Puster is a great place to be!
I grew up right down the road in McKinney and graduated from McKinney High School in 1996. (That was when McKinney was still small enough to have only one high school). After graduation, I moved to San Marcos, TX and attended Southwest Texas State University (now known as Texas State University). I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, later going back to earn my teaching certificate. When I am teaching, I feel that I am right where I am supposed to be! No other job has given me the joy that teaching children brings.
My husband's name is Cory, and he is a captain for the Wylie Fire Department! We live in Wylie with our two precious kiddos. Ella is our beautiful 8 year old daughter. She has such a fun personality and keeps us laughing every day. Ella will be in 3rd grade this year! Our son, Drew, is a 3 year old chunky ball of fire! He is everywhere and keeps us on our toes. Our family spends lots of time at the lake. We are happiest outside! My other love is dancing! In my free time, I am a dance instructor and travel around Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas teaching dance teams of all ages.
“Every Student. Every Chance. Every Day.”
This is what you will find as the motto and philosophy in my classroom. I treasure each day with my students and want to make sure they know how important they are as a person and as my student. Children achieve best when they are comfortable in their environment. If I can encourage them to perform beyond their expectations and reach beyond their imagination, then together we will be successful!
