| ¡Buenos dias amigos!
Estoy muy feliz to be a part of the Puster family! Let me assure you that it was not an easy process. Lovejoy I.S.D. takes pride in selecting their staff members and fortunately enough I was able to join this wonderful district.
I started my teaching career with the Dallas Independent School District; where I got the opportunity to serve as the 3rd grade team leader. After doing this for several years, my principal asked me to pilot a new program called the New Comers Program. This classroom was designed to help immigrant student’s transition into the U.S. educational system within a safe, non-threatening environment. I worked with students from Sudan, Bosnia, Kenya, Mexico, Argentina, Vietnam, and so many more places. It was amazing experience!
After teaching in Dallas for 6 years I decided I needed to be closer to home, and so, I started teaching a 3rd grade Dual Language program in Plano, which was so great, but with a growing family I felt that I need to be even closer to home, so here I am at Puster teaching my favorite subject español!
This year is actually a very special year for me because my son Noah will be starting kindergarten. Both, he and I agree that I must have the best year of my career because we wouldn't want to embarass him. The pressure is on!:-)
With that said, this is going to be a great year! I can't wait to see all of my previous students and to get to know all of our new students...and introduce them to the wonderful world of Spanish.
