IT IS TIME TO GET INVOLVED!

JOIN THE PARENT-TEACHER ASSOCIATION (PTA)
The PTA is the largest parent involvement organization in the U.S. with over 5 million members. The PTA’s mission is to promote child advocacy, parent involvement and to provide parent education. Your involvement in the Puster PTA costs only $7, but the benefits to your child and you are priceless. Click here to access the PTA membership application form. Please turn in completed forms to your child’s teacher by October 1.

Puster Elementary runs so beautifully because of the help of our volunteers. Please follow the steps below to help out at the school.

1. Complete the application form for the annual background check through the Lovejoy Independent School District (LISD). This form must be completed to volunteer for anything at Puster.  Click here to fill out your application form now. You will be notified via email when you are clear to volunteer.

2. To sign up to volunteer in your child's classroom, click here.

3. To sign up to volunteer for lunch duty on Fridays from 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., contact Amanda Bruce.

Also, we need two very special volunteers: One to head the PTA Reflections program at Puster and one to copy flyers for Thursday folders. Please contact PTA President Amy Holden if you are interested in either of these positions.

CHICK-FIL-A SPIRIT NIGHT, SEPT. 7
Spirit nights at local restaurants allow our families to get together, have a fun meal, and help Puster because the restaurants donate a percentage of the revenue to Puster. Visit the Chick-Fil-A at 350 East Stacy Road in Allen on Tuesday, Sept. 7. Please make sure that your receipt gests added to the Puster PTA Box.
